ABOUT THE SHIVALIK DIALOGUE

The Shivalik Dialogue is an emerging, youth-driven society committed to dismantling the nexus, deep state, and cartelisation that have deeply embedded themselves into every aspect of governance in India. Rooted in the ideals of transparency, rule-based administration, and constitutional integrity, the Dialogue seeks to reclaim the administrative machinery from the clutches of corruption and unaccountable power.

At its core, The Shivalik Dialogue envisions a governance model that is rule-bound, and free from the influence of entrenched interests. We aim to revive public trust in institutions by advocating for systemic reforms, stricter accountability mechanisms, and structural checks to break the syndicates that enable impunity among corrupt officers.

A cornerstone of our mission is to inculcate democratic values and civic responsibility in the youth, fostering a new generation of public-spirited leaders. We call for increased youth participation in legislative bodies, with a bold vision of ensuring that at least 33% of MLAs and MPs are below the age of 35—a symbolic yet powerful step toward re-energizing Indian democracy.

Through cutting-edge research, public campaigns, leadership development programs, and strategic engagement, The Shivalik Dialogue aspires to strengthen democratic institutions and create a rule-based administrative order that is resilient, transparent, and responsive to the people.

This is not just a mission—it is a movement to reclaim governance from the shadows of the nexus and hand it back to the people.
